The Forgotten IKEA on Amsterdam’s Stadhouderskade
In the early 1980s, IKEA tried something new: opening a small shop right in the city center of Amsterdam. In 1982, a compact catalog store opened at Stadhouderskade 110–113, serving as a miniature version of the giant suburban warehouses.
